The Role

The Data Visualisation and Automation Manager will lead our Research Operations team in Singapore and be a key member of our dynamic and fast paced Research Operations team globally, creating innovative client deliverables, performing data analysis and utilising market leading research tools.

In this individual contributor role, you’ll assist the Insights and Operations team by making data checks more efficient, taking the lead on reporting and data initiatives, and encouraging ongoing improvement and learning. You will build production-ready tables, automate outputs within Q and DisplayR to PowerPoint and Excel, and apply rigorous QA so reports are accurate, fast, and repeatable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead reporting simplification projects and initiatives. Autonomously building repeatable reporting templates, streamlining processes and ensuring outputs include all calculations, crosstabs, visualisations and rules. Be an expert in data and client report generation
  • Accurate generation and detailed review of sensitive performance metrics used by our clients within core functions of their institutions, and for market updates
  • Focused on continuous improvement, leveraging curiosity to deep dive into data to determine the root cause and visualise outputs into a clear story
  • Creating client presentation decks utilising market leading tools and meeting the client brief
  • Monitoring market trends to stay up to date on financial services industry changes to maintain a strong understanding of client priorities and deliver relevant, insight driven outputs
  • Utilising programming to deliver variable creation, recodes, automation, and data wrangling
  • Deliverables including complex data transformation expertise and statistical analysis
  • Support strong QA by reconciling to source tables, validate weights, and document assumptions
  • Cross-functional collaboration with team members, including sales, client services, operations and research teams
  • Communication of ideas, thinking outside the box and challenging the status quo
Qualifications
  • Have a degree in any discipline
  • A passion for financial services and data
  • Expert user of Q for table building, filters, banners, weighting, ranking, significance, and table rules
  • Experience with DisplayR is advantageous, and familiarity with other business intelligence tools is highly valued. Proficiency in coding—whether in R, Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages—for tasks such as variable creation, data recoding, automation, and data wrangling is desirable.
  • Knowledge of applying programming logic for table generation and user interface enhancements in business intelligence platforms would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with data files (such as SPSS or similar formats), including setting metadata and values to produce clean, analysis-ready tables, is preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Be a self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Thrive in a fast‑paced environment and be comfortable with a steep learning curve
