About the Job

Sanofi is preparing its future through an ambitious program named Modulus. The Modulus Project is at the cornerstone of Sanofi Manufacturing & Supply (M&S) strategy as it aims at creating a new manufacturing concept consisting of a new generation of evolutive multi-product facilities, modular, adaptable, and agile, leveraging new disruptive technologies, to better address vaccine & biologics business challenges. Digital will be one of the key topics to help Modulus to reach its ambition and data is the backbone of digital transformation. In this context, we are looking for a Data Steward for our new site based in Singapore.

This role leads the site data governance, quality, and timeliness for master and transactional data; manage dashboards, analytics, and digital solutions; ensure compliance, accessibility, lifecycle management, and team capability building to drive operational excellence.

DATA & PROCESS
  • Responsible of Master Data Management Process application at site level, as defined in the Master data Playbook & associated Standards.
  • Secure and communicate the direct link between Site Master Data KPIs and Site performance.
  • Accountable of the site Master Data quality & Timeliness KPIs, and lead the continuous improvement loop
  • Provides managerial support to Data Stewards team and contributes to upskilling
  • Ensures communication between site and Master data BPO through Master Data Community Management
  • Responsible of sites adherence to Business Processes as defined in the Sanofi Operating Model, GOPs and more detailed for ERP in Signavio
  • Secure and communicate the direct link between Site MySUA indicators and Site performance.
  • Accountable of the site Transactional Data (Data from processes, e.g. Process Orders, Purchase Orders, etc.) Quality & Timeliness indicators in MySUA, and lead the continuous improvement loop
  • Provides managerial support to all Key Users and contributes to upskilling
  • Ensures communication between site and Smart Process (M&S BPOs) Team through Community of Practices and F&S Ambassador Networks
DATA STEWARD
  • Tracks data accuracy, availability, security, and takes actions to improve it in coordination with business and CI
  • Oversees data lifecycle management (creation of data objects, maintenance and deletion/obsoletion)
  • Facilitates data accessibility and documentation to business users and correct usage in collaboration with IT
  • Provides data handling training and support
  • Is responsible to keep Master Data updated in systems, according to site Master Data governance
DATA ANALYST

Developing, deploying and Maintaining site Dashboards and Visual Management

  • Design, develop, and maintain site dashboards and visual management tools to monitor KPIs and site metrics.
  • Deploy dashboards to site stakeholders, explain the outcomes and the user interface
  • Ensure data visualization tools are user-friendly and provide actionable insights for site stakeholders.
  • Ensure data refresh and tool / master data updates to secure data availability & accuracy
  • Optimize dashboards as continuous improvement, based on user feedback

Performing Data Analyses, Trend Analyses, and Predictions:

  • Conduct data analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies especially to support CI process.
  • Utilize statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques to forecast future performance and identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Prepare presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.

Supporting Problem Solving with Analyses

  • Collaborate with site teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support for problem-solving initiatives.
  • Use data-driven approaches to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Assist in the implementation of corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness through data analysis.

Anticipating Impact and supporting deployment of Global Performance Digital Solutions (Snowflake, Plai, DEC, …)

  • Anticipate the impact of new digital solutions on the site and existing digital solutions landscape.
  • Lead the deployment of global digital solutions such as data lakes, global dashboards, and other advanced analytics tools.

Ensure seamless integration of digital solutions with existing systems and processes to enhance data accessibility and decision-making

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies / Language
  • 5+ years in data governance, analytics, or process improvement in manufacturing.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and data-related projects.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation and advanced analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems like MES, ERP (SAP), LIMS, Kinaxis, Veeva Vault.
  • Master data structuration and workflow management.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Excel.
  • Statistical analysis using Python or R.
  • SQL and data lake experience (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Team leadership and collaboration across functions.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Engineering, or other related technical field.
  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma or Data Governance are a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience leading digital projects.
