A seasoned Data Management & Analytic professional (VP / Assistant Director) with banking and financial services industry experience, responsible for supporting data initiatives, aligning data utilization with business objectives and championing the use of data analytics to facilitate strategic decision‑making. Identify opportunities to leverage data for enhanced business insights, improve operational efficiencies and enable growth through the delivery of effective data solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Engage stakeholders to identify and prioritize opportunities for data‑driven improvements and efficiencies.
  • Drive the development and implementation of data analytics solutions to address specific business challenges.
  • Design and build intuitive dashboards to communicate actionable insights that drive decision making.
  • Ensure data solutions adhere to data management and data governance policies and best practices.
  • Drive the adoption of BI and analytics tools and guide the integration of analytics into strategic planning and operational processes.
  • Oversee the data pipelines for the central data HUB and collaborate with IT to maintain the roadmap.
  • Identify data quality issues and work with cross‑functional teams to resolve them.
  • Improve data proficiency through hands‑on support and training to ensure users can leverage data effectively and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Governance, Data Management or MIS/Reporting.
  • Subject matter expertise with extensive hands‑on experience in developing and implementing data analytics solutions within banking and financial institutions.
  • Strong business acumen along with advanced technical competencies and a track record in delivering strategic data analytics initiatives.
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as QlikView, Tableau, Power BI, etc., with proven experience in developing interactive, insight‑driven dashboards and reports.
  • Strong Python/R programming skills and expertise in developing machine learning models.
  • Experience in data management, data integration, data governance, metadata and master data management.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks, UI/UX principles and data analytics best practices.
  • Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation (good to have).
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills.
