Job summary

A technology consulting firm is seeking a Data Engineer for a Wealth Management Client based in Singapore. In this role, you will work closely with data stewards and analysts to design and build robust data ingestion and management solutions. Requirements include at least 3 years of experience with data ingestion pipelines and proficiency in SQL and Python. An ideal candidate will have experience with cloud environments such as AWS or AZURE and should be agile, a fast learner, and able to adapt to changes.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in role focusing on development and support of data ingestion pipelines.
• Experience with building on data platforms.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) using GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with data stewards and analysts to implement and support data solutions.
• Design and build scalable data ingestion and management solutions.
• Provide production support in terms of job monitoring and issue resolution.

• Designandbuildrobustandscalabledataingestionanddatamanagementsolutionsforbatch-loadingandstreamingfrommultipledatasourcesusing:
• PythonviadifferentmechanismssuchasAPI,Filestransfer,directinterfacewithOracleandMSSQLdatabases.
• FamiliarwithSDLCprocess:Requirementgathering,designanddevelopment,SITtesting,supportUATandCICDdeploymentusingGithubforenhancementandnewingestionpipeline.
• EnsurecompliancewithITsecuritystandards,policies,andprocedures.
• ProvideBAUsupportintermsofproductionjobmonitoring,issueresolution,andbugfixes.
