Job description

We are seeking a Data Innovation & Protection Officer to support the Data Innovation & Protection Group (ED&E). In this role, you will assist with automation scripts, data management, and dashboard development, ensuring timely updates and effective management of data protection information.

Location: Nearest MRT (Labrador Park)

Working Hours: Mon–Thu, 8.30am–6.00pm | Fri, 8.30am–5.30pm (Hybrid work arrangements available)

Contract Duration: 11 months (starting late Sep 2025)

Salary: Up to $4,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Support development of automation scripts (e.g., Workato) to automate manual data cleaning and load processes.
• Enhance and develop dashboards to track registration and engagement trends from the Data Protection Officer (DPO) community.
• Support backend data management processes, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
• Provide general administrative and logistical support for data protection initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in a technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data management and analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modelling) and familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, MS Power BI).
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., RPA, Workato) and/or data analytics programming (e.g., Python) is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to identifying process improvements.
