The Opportunity:

• Adecco is partnering with a public sector agency to search for a Data Analyst.
• This role involves developing visualization solutions, conducting in-depth data analysis, and creating efficient, automated reporting tools to support organizational decision-making.
• Role will start off as a 18-months contract assignment.

The Job:

Dashboard & Reporting

• Design and build interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.
• Maintain and optimize regular reports for performance and accuracy
• Automate reporting processes where possible
• Develop standard templates for recurring use

Data Analysis & Insights

• Perform data analysis to extract meaningful business insights
• Use SQL to write and optimize queries
• Ensure consistency in metrics across reports
• Apply data validation checks for accuracy

Quality Assurance & Documentation

• Maintain data quality and reporting accuracy
• Document reporting logic, processes, and maintain a data dictionary
• Implement and follow reporting best practices

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs
• Collaborate with Data Engineers on data requirements
• Present insights to stakeholders and provide user training on dashboards
• Support data-driven decision-making

The Talent:

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in data analytics
• Strong background in SQL and dashboard creation
• Proven experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik

Core Technical Skills (Must-Have)

• Proficient in SQL
• Skilled in data visualization tools

• Good at stakeholder communication and requirement gathering

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially BigQuery
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analysis
• Understanding of statistical analysis and data quality practices
• Familiarity with security metrics and KPIs
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Tableau, Power BI)
