Your role and responsibilities

As a Solution Architect you'll be a pivotal team member who connects the client's technical functional and implementation requirements with a solution design and proposal. You'll work closely with clients and sellers to build solutions based on the meeting the client's business outcomes and known best practices for the technology and industry. In this fast‑paced role, you'll design, and construct build work breakdown structure leading to the rough order of magnitude leading to the price and statement of work. A successful Solution Architect will demonstrate a natural bias towards self‑motivation and navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions that ensure world class delivery. Required technical and professional expertise

• Design and implement enterprise‑grade data and AI architectures that meet the unique regulatory, security, and operational requirements of financial institutions and government agencies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, data needs, and compliance mandates
• Define data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data quality standards.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies for data lakes, data warehouses, MLOps, and AI platforms.
• Provide technical leadership to cross‑functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and AI developers.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Expertise in Data and IT Technologies: Deep expertise requires an expert technical level in data and IT software technologies including several technology areas including IBM Cloud Pak for Data, Red Hat OpenShift, IBM Db2, COGNOS, IBM Watson Studio and related AI frameworks or equivalent enterprise solutions
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred for government, AWS/GCP for finance) and data security frameworks
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
