Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for capabilities building of the cloud service cyber security protection system, develop and implement comprehensive security policies, and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud services;
• Lead cyber security technology insights, track AI/ML and other cutting-edge tech applications in the field, focus on latest research from top-tier academic conferences, and translate pioneering findings & best practices into project implementation
• Handle cyber security event, mitigate risks, and trace intrusion sources.
• Identifies weaknesses in the intrusion prevention and detection system and optimize it
• Responsible for cyber security privacy audit and certification (ISO27001, ISO27018, ISO27701, and C-STAR) for cloud services, track global cyber security regulations and standards, and adjust security policies to ensure compliance.
• To collaborate and communicate directly with Chinese speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers in China HQ team

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Master and above, major in computer science/software engineering etc.
• Familiar with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python) and AI/ML. Have proficiency in supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning algorithms to support intrusion detection development.
• Familiar with cyber security attack/defense tech/solutions, with hands‑on Huawei Cloud security operations. Skilled in common threat/vulnerability discovery & mitigation, emergency response, security event investigation, and Cloud security log analysis.
• Familiar with at least one security defense technology, such as anti‑DDoS, WAF, HIPS, RASP and network isolation
• Familiar with Linux, networking, databases, containerization, and container management systems etc
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to collaborate and communicate directly with Chinese speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers in China HQ team
