An education center in Singapore is looking for a Customer Service and Communication Specialist who excels in bilingual communication and administrative tasks. The role includes responsibilities in operations, social media management, and content creation. Candidates should have a diploma or higher, be fluent in English and Chinese, and possess strong organizational skills. Bilingual communication: Communicate professionally with parents and students in both English and Chinese regarding class schedules, changes, and relevant updates.
Customer support: Handle inquiries promptly and accurately, resolving administrative and basic technical issues.
Information briefing: Clearly explain course details, centre policies, and learning arrangements to ensure parents fully understand the information provided.
Sales assistance: Support diagnostic assessments (DA tests), course renewal discussions, and related administrative processes.
Administrative support: Assist with daily administrative tasks, including document filing, data updates, record maintenance, and other operational duties.
Daily maintenance: Maintain a clean, organised, and professional learning environment according to standard operating procedures.
Teacher support: Assist teachers with lesson material preparation, classroom setup, and resource organisation.
Class scheduling: Plan, coordinate, and optimise class schedules to ensure efficient utilisation of rooms and time slots.
Class coordination: Arrange trial lessons, reschedule or arrange replacement classes, and support post-class follow-up communication with parents when required.
Attendance management: Maintain accurate and updated attendance records for all classes and activities.
Content planning: Develop meaningful, value-driven content for parents—beyond simple postings—highlighting educational insights and centre strengths.
Platform management: Maintain and update the centre’s social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
Visual design: Use Canva or similar tools to create marketing visuals such as posters, promotional graphics, and event highlights.
Bilingual copywriting: Draft clear, professional, and error-free promotional and informational content in both English and Chinese.
Brand consistency: Ensure all content aligns with the centre’s professional image, branding guidelines, and communication standards.
Diploma or higher in any discipline (Business, Communications, Education preferred).
Fluent in both English and Chinese (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate professionally with parents.
Highly meticulous, organised, and able to manage administrative duties with precision and consistency.
Strong communication and customer service skills; comfortable interacting with parents, students, and teachers.
Able to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong sense of responsibility.
Experience in social media management, copywriting, or content creation is preferred.
Proficient in Canva, Google Workspace, MS Office, or other relevant tools.
