Job description
  • Assist customers with placing and modifying store or grocery orders via phone, email, or WhatsApp.
  • Respond quickly to customer inquiries and feedback regarding product availability, pricing, and promotions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively cross-sell and upsell products when appropriate.
  • Provide accurate updates on order status, delivery timelines, and manage returns due to cancellations, incorrect orders, or duplicate orders placed on the same day.
  • Collaborate with logistics and inventory teams to ensure accurate order processing and proper assignment to delivery routes.
  • Communicate efficiently with delivery personnel to facilitate a smooth handover for timely deliveries.
  • Maintain a positive, friendly attitude when interacting with customers.
  • Stay up-to-date on product availability, stock levels, promotions, and store policies.
  • Generate invoices for orders and purchase orders, informing customers about payment statuses and policies for tracking and record-keeping, ensuring payments are made as per the chosen payment method or credit terms.
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) or Credit Term payments, liaise with the Accounts Receivables (AR) department to ensure timely follow-ups and monitoring by the designated key accounts personnel.
