Roles and Responsibilities
- Maximise network performance by monitoring system health, troubleshooting network issues and outages, scheduling upgrades and working with network architects to optimise performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and monitor the performance of electrical and mechanical systems that support critical facility operations.
- Ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out in accordance with approved Method of Statement (MOS) and Risk Assessment (RA) and manage appointed vendors accordingly. Maintenance records must be completed, reviewed, and signed off.
- Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance activities, including vendor service reports and checklists. Ensure these records are complete, accurate and readily available for audits.
- Raise change requests and coordinate with the relevant service management team for submission through the client's system.
- Maintain and regularly update the list of licenses and their expiry dates to ensure timely renewals in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting and rectifying system faults, particularly for critical equipment.
- Schedule monthly vendor performance reviews and support client-side stakeholders in evaluating vendor performance.
- Monitor critical spare parts inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and provide timely updates to client-side stakeholders when restocking is required.
Qualification Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
- Minimum 5 years of field experience in data centre, semiconductor, oil and gas or other critical facilities.
