Job summary

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Credit Risk Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating the financial health of new and existing counterparties, recommending credit limits and terms, and monitoring credit exposure to ensure compliance with approved thresholds. You will also support the Credit Committee with administrative tasks, including preparing reports in Chinese, and contribute to periodic credit assessments, collateral reviews, and ad-hoc reporting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Review new counterparty registrations; analyze and evaluate the financial information of new and existing customers, along with other external factors, to assess creditworthiness and recommend credit limits and terms.
  • Monitor credit risk exposure and ensure customer accounts remain within approved credit limits.
  • Conduct periodic assessments of customers’ credit standing.
  • Review the status of collateral and guarantees.
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to Credit Risk Management and the Credit Committee, including the preparation of reports in Chinese.
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting and perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in a related discipline (Accountancy, Economics, Finance) or a relevant professional qualification.
  • Experience in financial statement analysis.
  • Strong report writing skills with proficiency in both English and Mandarin.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
