Responsibilities
  • Track & control company’s non-performing portfolios
  • Manage relationships with clients and internal pertaining to any issues in order to reduce exposure to potential bad debt
  • Escalate potential risk and significant issues to management for timely resolution
  • Verification of all newly created customers’ accounts
  • Ensure that assessment / review of all customers’ credit facilities are done timely
  • Follow up on critical accounts with lawyers and other third parties on early recovery of debts
  • Ensure credit control processes and procedures are in compliance with Company standards and polices
  • Supervise the credit control team and work closely with clients and internal business units to resolve dispute
  • Timely collections and reduce exposure to potential bad debt
  • Evaluate risks and recommend pausing delivery or take legal actions against accounts in arrears
  • Assess and evaluate customer credit risk through in-depth business and financial analysis
  • Update the management any credit related development in order to mitigate credit risk
Qualifications
  • Around 8 years of experience in a similar function and with 3-5 years of managerial experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Business / Commerce or related field
  • Strong understanding of credit control policies, contract and business law
  • Knowledgeable about current economic outlook and situation and kept abreast of overall market credit performance
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills and a good command of English and Mandarin to liaise effectively with mandarin-speaking stakeholders
