The ideal candidate must possess a valid Crawler Crane Operator Licence and WSQ/BCA-approved certification, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Strong understanding of safety protocols and teamwork skills is essential. The position requires adherence to operational safety standards and effective communication with site teams, contributing to timely project execution.

Qualifications

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Operate crawler cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials as per site requirements for civil engineering projects.
• Perform pre-operation checks, inspections, and routine maintenance of crane equipment to ensure operational safety.
• Interpret load charts, job orders, and lifting plans accurately.
• Work closely with riggers, signalmen, and lifting supervisors to ensure safe lifting operations.
• Comply with all MOM's regulations and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate logs of operations, maintenance, and inspections.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the site supervisor promptly.
• Adhere to project schedules and collaborate with site teams to meet operational deadlines.

Requirements

• Valid Crawler Crane Operator Licence issued by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
• WSQ / BCA-approved training certification in crane operation.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience operating crawler cranes on construction, marine, or oil & gas projects.
