Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled Crawler Crane Operator. The role involves operating crawler cranes, performing safety checks, and collaborating with site teams to ensure smooth operations. Candidates must have a valid Crawler Crane Operator Licence, relevant training certification, and at least 2 years of experience in similar projects. This position is crucial for supporting civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Crawler Crane Operator Licence issued by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
• WSQ / BCA-approved training certification in crane operation.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience operating crawler cranes on construction, marine, or oil & gas projects.

• Operate crawler cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.
• Perform pre-operation checks, inspections, and routine maintenance of crane equipment.
• Interpret load charts, job orders, and lifting plans accurately.
• Comply with all MOM's regulations and safety guidelines.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Operate crawler cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials as per site requirements for civil engineering projects.
• Perform pre-operation checks, inspections, and routine maintenance of crane equipment to ensure operational safety.
• Interpret load charts, job orders, and lifting plans accurately.
• Work closely with riggers, signalmen, and lifting supervisors to ensure safe lifting operations.
• Comply with all MOM's regulations and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate logs of operations, maintenance, and inspections.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the site supervisor promptly.
• Adhere to project schedules and collaborate with site teams to meet operational deadlines.

Requirements

• Valid Crawler Crane Operator Licence issued by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
• WSQ / BCA-approved training certification in crane operation.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience operating crawler cranes on construction, marine, or oil & gas projects.
• Strong understanding of load charts, lifting techniques, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to varying site conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
