The Corporate Governance, Policy & Compliance Manager is responsible for developing and stewarding the internal governance and policy framework that underpins how Meranti Green Steel operates, makes decisions, and meets external expectations. This role is critical to ensuring our foundational systems are aligned with our values, structured for scale, and credible to stakeholders across jurisdictions.
The core focus is the practical delivery of fit‑for‑purpose policies and governance procedures - from board‑level delegations to cross‑functional operating policies - with consistency, traceability, and clarity. The role will work closely with all corporate functions to ensure that the right policies are in place ahead of Final Investment Decision (FID), and that they can be effectively implemented across the organization.
The role also includes responsibility for ensuring that our internal policy architecture aligns with key regulatory and investor‑linked frameworks such as CBAM, ISO, and relevant corporate governance codes in Singapore, Thailand, and Oman.
