Strategic Sourcing & Purchasing
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize value and minimize risk
Client Engagement & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between procurement, internal departments, and external clients to understand and fulfill requirements
- Participate in client meetings to align procurement strategies with project goals and service-level expectations
- Provide procurement insights during client onboarding or project scoping phases
- Identify sourcing needs and deliver timely procurement support
Supplier & Contractor Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance
- Identify, evaluate and recommend new Contractors and/or Suppliers that meet the Business Groups' requirements based on the selection and qualification process
- Focuses on expanding and qualifying the supplier base to meet evolving business demands.
Process Optimization
- Implement and improve procurement processes, tools, and systems (e.g., P2P platforms)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Data & Reporting
Track procurement KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics
Prepare reports for internal and client-facing presentations
Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning
- Monitor market dynamics and identify marketplace trends that impact material/services availability and pricing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Building / Facilities Management or any relevant discipline
- 3 to 5 years related experience in Business Development / Procurement or Contract in Built Environment industry
- Sound knowledge of pre / post tender processes and conditions of contract will be an added advantage
