Our client is seeking a Contract Manager to join their team!
What you'll be doing?

Strategic leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to the existing contracts team, enhancing overall performance and efficiency.

Contract optimization: Improve contract negotiation, tender management, and risk assessment processes for future projects across multiple sectors.

Procurement enhancement: Develop and implement strategies to optimize procurement and vendor negotiations, ensuring cost-effective project execution.

Project management: Oversee and prepare all aspects of Project and Contract Management for infrastructure upgrades and improvements.

Conceptual planning: Participate in project conceptualization, developing action plans and ensuring coherent planning parameters for facilities.

Progress monitoring: Evaluate ongoing projects, ensuring alignment with proposed work schedules and budgets.

Contract administration: Handle general contracts administration, including tender preparation, site show rounds, and tender evaluations.

Financial oversight: Manage progress claims, payment certifications, and contract account finalizations, ensuring due diligence in financial matters.

Cost control: Prepare and monitor job costing for projects, reviewing and updating tender documents and schedules of rates.

Who are they looking for?

Educational background: Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Building Facilities, Contract Management, or a related field.

Relevant experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in contract management, with knowledge of new build projects and A&A works.

Industry expertise: Proven track record in contracts and quantity surveying for various project types, including new builds, A&A, commercial fit‑outs, data centers, and more.

Technical proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office suite and MS Projects for efficient project management and documentation.

Communication skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
