Job summary

A leading personnel service provider in Singapore is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to manage cable laying and installation activities. You will supervise daily site operations, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety requirements. Required qualifications include experience in utility construction and relevant safety certifications. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring project progress. This role requires a proactive approach to resolving site issues while adhering to regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil, electrical, or utility construction, preferably power cable projects.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, especially cable route and section drawings.
• Familiarity with SP Group, LTA, PUB, or similar regulatory requirements is an advantage.

Salary: SGD 3,500 – 7,000 (based on experience and certifications obtained)

Working Days: 6 days per week

Working Hours: 8 hours per day

Construction Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily site activities for cable laying, jointing, duct installation, and termination works.
• Ensure work complies with SP Group technical specifications, project drawings, and method statements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and SP representatives.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce safety requirements.
• Prepare daily site reports and assist with inspections and documentation.
• Monitor cable route alignment, trench depth, duct formation, and joint bay construction.
• Resolve site issues and ensure timely progress of works.

Requirements:

• Experience in civil, electrical, or utility construction (preferably power cable projects).
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, especially cable route and section drawings.
• Familiarity with SP Group, LTA, PUB, or similar regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Basic safety knowledge and willingness to follow WSH requirements.
• Certifications such as BCSS, PSM, WSQ Safety Supervisor, or Work at Height.
• MHA clearance done is an advantage.
