Job summary

A leading project management firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee full project deliveries, from requirements gathering to maintenance. Responsibilities include managing project budgets and establishing risk management plans. The ideal candidate has a relevant degree, at least 10 years of experience in quality control systems, and professional project management certification is preferred. This role requires excellent problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Min Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Environmental Engineering (recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore).
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the implementation and management of quality control systems.
• Professional project management certification (e.g. PMP, CITPM) preferred.

• Oversee various stages of full project deliveries covering requirements gathering and analysis, design, construction, delivery, integration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance services
• Map out the overall project management plan and ensure that the roles and responsibilities, objectives, commitment, deliverables, schedule, and risks are clearly defined and communicated to team members and customers
• Establish a risk management plan for a structured approach to identify and review potential risks and mitigation actions
• Manage project budget and costs with the objective of maximizing revenue and margin achievements.
• Establish a project execution plan and schedule for tracking of deliverables within the scheduled milestones
• Build a high-performance delivery team, comprising both onsite and offshore resources, and provide effective leadership for the team members
• Oversee the entire project delivery life cycle within scope, schedule, and budget
• Maintain a pro-active and responsive relationship with all stakeholders, both internal management and customers, to provide regular and accurate progress updates, problem reporting and resolution processes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Min Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Environmental Engineering (Degree must be recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore)
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the implementation and management of qualify control systems
• Hands-on” attitude, meticulous and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills
• Professional project management certification (e.g. PMP, CITPM, etc) is preferred
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work under pressure, resourceful and independent with good negotiation skills
