Job description
Responsibilities
  • 1. Service & Conservancy Charges Arrears for HDB residential housing

  • Contact residents and conduct house visits to assess the financial situation of a family to determine if the household is facing Hardship or any other social support required.

  • Provide guidance and directions on where residents can seek help eg: SSO, MPS

  • Monitor and review of all Hardship cases for respective divisions

  • Update TCMS3 Memo whenever there are changes to a family’s situation.

  • Update resident’s information details in TCMS3.

  • 2. Work Placement Scheme (WPS)

  • Prepare the WPS Agreement and print the required number of Inspection Forms (60 number of Inspection Forms for each month of WPS)

  • Arrange an appointment with the resident to sign the WPS Agreement and to submit relevant supporting documents.

  • Explain to the resident the contents of the Agreement and ensure the Agreement is duly completed and signed.

  • Update TCMS3 Memo and WPS Record.

  • Regular tracking of the WPS works, in parallel monitor the S&CC arrears.

  • 3. Monthly updated listings

  • Send monthly listing of WPS sign-up to Finance Arrears and Property teams

  • Send monthly updated Hardship cases to Property and Finance arrear team

  • 4. Any ad-hoc duties assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements
  • Minimum recognised diploma in Sociology / Counselling / Psychology / Social Work / Event Management / Mass Communication / Journalism / recognised qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in public/community relations

  • Dedicated and possess a passion to serve the community, and to help residents in need

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Proficient in English and one other national language

  • Able to work beyond office hours when required
