Responsibilities
  • Oversee all contract management and commercial activities in alignment with company policies and industry best practices.

  • Safeguard the organization’s contractual and commercial interests, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated effectively.

  • Review, draft, and negotiate contractual documents to ensure favorable terms and adequate protection of company rights.

  • Manage and monitor contractual obligations, including claims, variations, and extensions of time, to optimize commercial outcomes.

  • Provide strategic guidance on contract-related matters to management and project teams.

  • Provide contractual oversight for procurement and subcontracting activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.

  • Supervise post-contract activities, including payment processing, claims administration, and settlement of final accounts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contract terms align with operational, legal, and risk management objectives.

  • Track and report on project risks, opportunities, and financial performance to support profit margin improvement.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement across all contract-related functions.

  • Perform any other relevant duties or projects as assigned by management.

Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.

  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in the engineering, infrastructure, or construction sectors.

  • Proven ability to manage contract administration, commercial negotiations, and risk management processes.
