Job summary

An international energy company is seeking a Senior Commercial Leader in Singapore. This role involves developing and executing the commercial strategy for LNG, gas, and fuels while overseeing negotiations and building senior-level relationships. Our client

Our client is an international energy company looking to identify a senior commercial leader to drive growth across conventional energy markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute commercial strategy for LNG, gas, fuels and broader energy products.
  • Lead origination of new partnerships, offtake agreements, MOUs and regional business development opportunities.
  • Oversee commercial negotiations, contract structures, pricing, and long-term supply arrangements.
  • Build and manage senior-level relationships with utilities, traders, industrial buyers, NOCs and international partners.
  • Identify new revenue streams in conventional energy while supporting early-stage low‑carbon and transition‑linked initiatives.
  • Work cross‑functionally with trading, operations, finance, legal and strategy teams to drive deal execution.
  • Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to senior leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field (MBA a plus).
  • 12–20+ years of commercial, BD or origination experience in oil, gas, LNG, fuels or downstream supply.
  • Proven track record in structuring complex deals and closing commercial agreements.
  • Strong network across energy buyers, suppliers, traders and industry partners in Asia.
  • Excellent commercial judgement, negotiation skills and ability to drive strategic outcomes.
