Job summary

A machinery and engineering solutions company in Singapore is looking for a CNC Programmer. The role involves developing and modifying CNC programs, reviewing engineering drawings, and designing work-holding. Candidates should have a minimum diploma in Precision Machining or Mechanical Engineering, along with at least 2 years of experience in CNC programming and proficiency in Mastercam and SolidWorks. This position offers a chance to work on advanced CNC milling projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma in Precision Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in CNC programming.
• Proficient in Mastercam, SolidWorks, G&M codes, GD&T, and familiar with Fanuc controllers.
• Experience in 3-axis CNC milling; exposure to 5-face/advanced milling is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify CNC programs for prototypes and production, including tool selection, speeds, and feed rates.
• Review engineering drawings to determine machining profiles, datum points, and operational processes.
• Determine material sizes, select appropriate tooling, and support sourcing of equivalent materials.
• Design or assist in designing work-holding/fixturing and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Perform other related duties as required to support machining operations.
