Job summary

The position involves working with a small team of experienced machinists, interpreting engineering drawings, and operating Mazak machines. Qualifications

• Minimum higher NiTEC / Diploma (or equivalent) in CNC or mechanical engineering discipline.
• Existing working knowledge of programming and operating Mazak machines.
• Hands-on knowledge working with stainless steels and special alloys.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings.
• Set-up machine and tooling.
• Generate G-code program (Mazatrol) according to the drawings.
• Perform First Article Inspection on finished work piece.
• Carry out machine maintenance.

Requirements

• Minimum higher NiTEC / Diploma (or equivalent) in CNC or mechanical engineering discipline
• Existing working knowledge of programming and operating Mazak machines
• Multi discipline CNC Turning and Milling operations

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings
• Set-up machine and tooling
• Generate manually G-code program (Mazatrol) according to the drawings
• Perform First Article Inspection on finished work piece
• Carry out machine maintenance

The following skills or work experience would be an advantage

• Hands on knowledge working with stainless steels, special alloys
• Machined various fittings, fasteners, flanges
• Basic knowledge and experience with 5 axis VMC (Mazak)
• Program G-code using SolidCAM

Working Hours (5.5 Days)

• Mon to Fri (7.30am to 4.30pm)
• Sat (8.00am to 12.00pm)
• Overtime may be required.
