Job summary

A healthcare clinic in Singapore seeks a dedicated Clinic Assistant to manage daily operations and assist patients and doctors. Responsibilities include performing administrative tasks like patient registration, medication dispensing, and preparing examination rooms. The ideal candidate has at least GCE 'O' Level education, strong communication skills, and preferably knows Mandarin to interact with Chinese-speaking patients. Training will be provided for new hires. The ideal candidate should be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level or higher or at least 1 year healthcare experience will be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Job Description

As a Clinic Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the clinic's day-to-day operations to ensure it is clean, organized and welcoming for patients and medical staff.

Job Requirement
  • Perform general administrative duties assigned by the Clinic Supervisor or Manager, including:
    • Handle patient registration & appointment scheduling
    • Record medical history in a proper manner
    • Accurately dispense medication
    • Reconcile daily monetary (cash & electronic) transactions
    • Update medical billings & invoices
    • Monthly stock-take of drugs & consumables
  • Assist and chaperone doctors during physical examinations
  • Prepare and stock examination rooms with necessary supplies. Restock supplies as and when required
  • Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns
  • Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Willing to work shifts (morning/afternoon/night shift)
  • Willing to cover duties in other clinics owned by the parent company
Skills and Knowledge
  • Minimum GCE “O” Level or higher or at least 1 year healthcare experience will be an advantage. Training will be provided for all new hires
