Job summary

A leading bank in Singapore is looking for a Client Services Specialist to support Wealth Advisors and manage client inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience in private banking or wealth management. Responsibilities include assisting with KYC documentation, managing investment transactions, and collaborating with different departments. Strong attention to detail and regulatory knowledge are essential for this role. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

  • Certification in CACS Paper 1 & 2 required.

Job description
Job Purpose

The Client Services Specialist role supports the Head of Client Services as well as the frontline Wealth Advisors in the following activities:

  1. Attending to client and prospect inquiries about the branch’s WM proposition and processes
  2. Providing assistance to the Account Opening/ CDD teams in Singapore and Dubai as well as frontline Relationship Managers and Wealth Advisors seeking to streamline the onboarding experience for clients. This includes helping with
    • Name Screening & Source of Wealth corroboration
    • Periodic CDD reviews and updates
  3. Providing assistance to Wealth Advisors on a day-to-day basis with client inquiries, updation of client KYC documentation, sharing of documentation between teams in Dubai and Singapore, etc.
  4. Managing administrative tasks on behalf of the Wealth Advisors including systems access, control assessment testing, client facing stationery, etc.
  5. Assisting Wealth Advisors with taking client orders for new Investments & Lending transactions, managing the suitability and other pre-sale risk & compliance checks, post trade updates to clients and other stakeholders in Dubai
  6. Monitoring clients’ deposit and loan maturities, roll overs, repayments, etc.
  7. Assisting Wealth Advisors to prepare for Portfolio reviews with clients
  8. Assisting in the management of various regulatory & control aspects of the WM business e.g. Vulnerabilty assessments, client instructions, credit review documentation, etc.
  9. Collaborating with other departments in the SG branch and the Head office in order to farther achievement of branch goals whilst promoting SG WM goals
Requirements
  • Min a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree. Diploma in Wealth Management is desirable.
  • At least 5-7 years in the private bank or wealth management unit.
  • Certification in CACS Paper 1 & 2.
  • Well versed with the regulatory regime (local & global).
  • Self Motivated individual, proactiveness, strong team player, and able to meet tight deadlines and multi-task.
  • Meticulous with a strong attention to detail
  • Able to start work immediately

Note that salary commensurate with relevant years of experience.
