Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is looking for a Client Onboarding Associate to conduct client due diligence and ensure compliance with regulations. The role includes reviewing account opening documents and performing screenings for sanctions and adverse media. Candidates should have a degree in Banking, Business, or Finance, with at least 4 years of experience in the securities or private banking fields. Proficiency in MS Excel is essential for this position, which is open to Singaporeans only.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic CDD reviews of existing clients, performing EDD and ensure compliance.
• Work closely with Front Office on CDD requirements.
• Review account opening documents for individual and entity.
• Perform Sanctions, PEP, and Adverse Media screening.
• Assist in maintenance of database for FATCA and CRS reporting.

Skills

Proficiency in MS Excel (including Vlookup)

Familiarity with FATCA/CRS

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic CDD reviews of existing clients, performing EDD and ensure compliance
• Work closely with Front Office on CDD requirements to ensure document deficiencies are accurately tracked and escalated as per procedure
• Review of account opening documents for both individual and entity.
• Perform Sanctions, PEP and Adverse Media/ Negative News screening screenings
• Assist in maintenance of database for FATCA and CRS reporting
• Assist in retrieval of signature from database
• Support ad-hoc assigned duties by Team Lead

Requirements

• Possess Bachelors degree in Banking/Business/Finance with min 4 years of relevant working experience in Securities/Private Banking Firms
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including Vlookup
• Familiar with FATCA/CRS
