Job description
What you'll do:

As a Client Investment Associate based in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in supporting institutional clients engaged in futures, options, and OTC clearing activities. You will be instrumental in resolving complex operational challenges by leveraging your deep industry knowledge and ability to coordinate across multiple departments. In addition to managing ongoing client relationships.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients domiciled in the Asia Pacific region, ensuring their queries and issues are addressed efficiently through close coordination with internal teams.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients by providing consistent support and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance their experience.
  • Analyse complex operational problems related to futures, options, and OTC clearing activities, coordinating with product specialists to deliver effective solutions.
  • Respond promptly to exceptions raised by clients by liaising with global operational functions to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Educate clients on regulatory changes and industry developments while communicating updates clearly and effectively.
  • Coordinate with colleagues in APAC, EMEA, and the US to provide comprehensive coverage for global clients, ensuring seamless service delivery across time zones.
  • Participate in client visits and deliver in‑person demonstrations of client interface systems to enhance user understanding and satisfaction.
  • Support new product launches or market entries by providing expert guidance to clients during onboarding or transition periods.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the operating environment by collaborating closely with technology, operations, and front office teams.
  • Lead or contribute to projects introducing new initiatives, systems, products, or processes aimed at optimising client support models.
What you bring:

To excel as a Client Investment Associate, you will bring extensive experience from roles involving direct client interaction within financial markets—particularly those dealing with listed derivatives or OTC products.

  • 5 to 7 years’ experience within a client service team specialising in futures & options as well as OTC clearing activities is essential for success in this role.
  • Demonstrated excellence in delivering superior results through previous leadership roles or project management assignments within financial services operations.
  • Proven ability to manage staff rotation effectively while maintaining high standards of performance within your current position.
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels across different regions and backgrounds.
  • Experience working under pressure within a team‑oriented environment where collaboration is key to achieving shared goals.
  • Presentable demeanour combined with confidence when engaging directly with clients or presenting information to groups.
  • Exceptional communication skills allowing you to convey complex concepts clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Self‑motivation coupled with the ability to work independently without supervision while knowing when escalation is necessary for issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with operational risk frameworks and exchange rules would be advantageous but not mandatory for applicants who demonstrate other relevant strengths.
  • A commitment to fostering diversity within teams so that varied perspectives can be leveraged for better decision‑making.
  • Fluency in the Japanese language will be beneficial to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders.
What sets this company apart:

The company places great emphasis on continuous learning: whether through participation in cross‑functional projects or exposure to cutting‑edge systems designed for risk control and process optimisation. Staff are encouraged to share ideas openly so that best practices can be adopted quickly throughout the organisation.
