Job summary

A structural engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a client-facing Civil & Structural Design Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will lead the design and analysis using Eurocode, prepare submissions, and conduct site supervision. Qualifications

Job description

We’re seeking a practical, client‑facing Civil & Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Bishan / Sin Ming. You will lead design and analysis using Eurocode, prepare Authority submissions, conduct Periodic Structural Inspections (PSI), and provide site supervision from concept to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design and perform structural analysis of civil & structural works in accordance with Eurocode
• Prepare clear design calculations, drawings and Authority submission documents
• Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage project deliverables to meet time, cost, quality and safety objectives
• Conduct periodic site inspections and supervise work-in-progress structural works
• Carry out Periodic Structural Inspection (PSI) engagements
• Attend construction progress meetings and resolve technical/site issues promptly

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (or equivalent) recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore)
• Minimum 3 years’ structural design experience; competent in Eurocode
• Familiarity with design software and drafting tools (TSD, TEDDS, STAAD Pro, Revit) is advantageous
• Strong design judgement, attention to constructability and practical site sense
• Good written & verbal communication skills; client-facing experience preferred
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
