Job Description

The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising civil and structural works to ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role involves close coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to deliver quality construction outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and supervise civil engineering works at project sites
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and method statements
  • Prepare and submit method statements, risk assessments, and work schedules
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on technical matters
  • Ensure works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
  • Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, and equipment usage
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve construction or technical issues
  • Prepare progress reports, work records, and as-built documentation
  • Ensure compliance with local authorities’ requirements and workplace safety regulations
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum [X] years of relevant experience in construction / civil works
  • Experience in structural works, concrete works, or marine/industrial projects is an advantage
  • Familiar with construction drawings, specifications, and site coordination
  • Knowledge of MOM, BCA, WSH, and local regulatory requirements
  • Ability to prepare method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports
  • Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
Working Hours
  • Monday to Saturday: [Insert Working Hours]
  • Overtime or site work as required by project needs
