Job description

Frazer Jones is delighted to be retained on a confidential search for a newly created Chief Human Resources Officer role with a private equity‑backed organisation following one of the largest recent transactions in the region. The business has been taken private through a consortium‑led acquisition and is now entering an accelerated phase of transformation, efficiency optimisation, and growth, with a clear mandate to increase equity value and prepare for a future re‑listing at a significantly higher multiple.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CHRO will be a core member of the executive leadership team and will work closely with both the CEO and the Private Equity sponsor. Based in Singapore, the role will lead the people and culture agenda across the group, partnering the leadership team on value creation initiatives throughout the hold period. The CHRO will play a critical role in driving organisational efficiency, enabling change management, and building scalable people capabilities to support expansion across APAC.

The remit will cover the full spectrum of human resources, including organisational design, leadership and succession planning, total rewards and incentives, performance management, talent strategy, HR operations and governance. A key focus will be aligning the people strategy to the investment thesis, ensuring the right structure, talent, and incentives are in place to support operational excellence, growth, and long‑term equity value creation. The CHRO will also be instrumental in preparing the organisation for future public market readiness, strengthening HR infrastructure, reporting, and governance in line with PE and IPO standards.

The successful candidate will bring proven senior HR leadership experience within private equity‑backed, highly commercial, or transformation‑led environments. A strong track record of partnering closely with CEOs and investors on value creation, efficiency initiatives, and enterprise‑wide change is essential. The role requires a commercially minded HR leader who can link people strategy to financial outcomes, operate with pace and pragmatism, and act as a trusted advisor at Board and sponsor level. Experience supporting regional growth across APAC and operating in environments with a clear IPO or re‑listing ambition, will be highly valued.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced CHRO to join a PE‑backed organisation at the outset of its ownership journey, with significant exposure to senior stakeholders, meaningful influence on value creation, and the opportunity to shape the business ahead of a potential re‑listing.
