A prominent childcare center in Singapore seeks a dedicated leader to manage daily operations and mentor teachers. Your role will involve developing educational programs, collaborating with families, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates must possess a diploma in early childhood education and at least two years of relevant experience. This position offers the opportunity to create a positive learning environment while meeting key performance indicators.
Be responsible for the daily operations of the Centre.
Plan, develop and implement the programme, curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment.
Establish collaborative partnerships with parents, families, and staff for the children’s development.
Guide and mentor teachers to raise the standard and performance of the centre.
Demonstrate knowledge of Centre’s Mission, Vision, and Values, ECDA Licensing and SPARK requirements and other regulatory bodies and to ensure regulatory compliance.
Manage the budget and expenditures at the centre.
Build positive morale and a highly competitive team.
Collaborate partnership with stakeholders
Maintain a healthy enrolment rate
Prepare monthly reports and other relevant documents required by Management
Ensure the Centre meets Annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by ECDA
Any other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Diploma in Pre-school Education Leadership (DPE-L) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Leadership (DECCE-L) / Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership (ADECL) Preferably with a recognized Degree in Early Childhood
Diploma in Pre-School Teaching, Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or other Early Childhood Diploma Qualification(s)
ECDA certified2 educator
Preferably holds a valid first aid certificate recognized by ECDA
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a professional early childhood setting
Knowledge and Skills
Strong knowledge of early childhood curriculum, pedagogy, and assessments.
Excellent communication and people management skills.
Passionate in working with children, staff, and families.
Is familiar with government regulations, quality assurance framework (SPARK)
