A sustainability-focused tech company in Singapore is seeking a Chief Scientist to lead their science, R&D, and materials innovation strategy aimed at advancing carbon-negative, circular polymers and composites. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field and 10–15 years of experience in advanced materials R&D. Responsibilities include defining a scientific roadmap, leading innovation in regenerative materials, and ensuring compliance with industrial standards. English fluency is required, and a knowledge of bioplastics and nanotechnology is a plus.
As Chief Scientist, you will lead our science, R&D, and materials innovation strategy to advance the next generation of carbon-negative, circular polymers and composites. This role sits at the intersection of polymer chemistry, nanotechnology, and lifecycle engineering — and will shape the scientific backbone of our mission to clean the planet through regenerative materials.
You will build and guide a multidisciplinary science team, oversee the development and optimization of our ECOFUSION formulations, and serve as the strategic interface between research, commercialization, and sustainability certification. This is a science-for-impact leadership role, ideal for an ambitious innovator eager to scale groundbreaking technologies with real-world environmental and industrial impact. Candidate is expected to join immediately.
