Qualifications

About the Role

The company is a Singapore-headquartered "Fintenet" infrastructure company that builds embedded financial rails for underserved consumers, small businesses and institutions across Asia and Africa. This company partners with enterprises, telcos, government and NGOs to embed protection (insurance), credit, payments and related digital infrastructure into everyday journeys and platforms — with a mission to increase financial inclusion and make protection/credit accessible at scale.

The Chief of Staff to the Group CEO/ Head of CEO Office will serve as a trusted strategic partner to the Executive Chairman and CEO, supporting the shaping of priorities, driving execution and ensuring alignment across markets and functions. The position combines strategic advisory, execution oversight and stakeholder engagement.

This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑growing, dynamic environments and is comfortable operating at both board and execution levels.

Key Responsibilities
CEO Advisory & Strategy
  • Advise the CEO on strategic priorities, key decisions and trade‑offs across growth, markets, partnerships and capital.
  • Structure issues, evaluate options and prepare clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Support CEO preparation for high‑impact meetings, speeches and thought leadership engagements.
Strategy Execution & Business Rhythm
  • Translate the CEO’s vision into annual and quarterly priorities, OKRs and execution plans.
  • Track progress across functions and regions, identify risks early and drive resolution.
  • Lead selected strategic initiatives directly sponsored by the CEO.
External & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Support and, where appropriate, represent the CEO in engagements with partners, investors, regulators and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Coordinate briefing materials, messaging and follow‑ups for key external engagements.
  • Ensure consistency between CEO messaging and overall brand positioning.
CEO Office Leadership & Internal Alignment
  • Run the operating rhythm of the CEO Office, including leadership meetings, business reviews and offsites.
  • Drive clear, timely and consistent communication from the CEO across teams and regions.
  • Partner closely with the Chief of Staff, Executive Assistant and project teams to optimize CEO focus, prioritization and effectiveness.
Profile & Requirements
  • 10–15 years of experience in a CEO Office, Chief of Staff, strategy, corporate development, consulting or senior management role.
  • Prior exposure to financial services, fintech, insurtech or embedded finance strongly preferred.
  • Experience working across Asia and/or Africa, particularly emerging markets, is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of supporting C‑suite leaders in high‑growth or transformation environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with hands‑on execution capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including board‑level exposure.
  • Highly organized, adaptable and comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
  • Values‑driven, low‑ego and comfortable operating in a lean, mission‑led organization.
