Job description

Our client is looking for a dynamic and strategic Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) to lead the Human Resource function and drive transformative initiatives. The CHRO will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and work closely with the Board Staff Committee and Group HR leadership. This role will be responsible for shaping the HR vision, implementing forward-thinking strategies, and enhancing workforce agility and performance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of forward-thinking HR strategies to support business goals and workforce agility.
  • Drive HR transformation and digitalisation, including adoption of HR technologies and system enhancements.
  • Oversee end-to-end talent management initiatives, including recruitment, performance development, employee relations, and succession planning.
  • Champion change management practices and foster employee engagement through strong communication and culture-building efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, as well as corporate HR policies and standards.
  • Manage employee and industrial relations, including policy interpretation, stakeholder engagement, and resolution of workplace issues and disputes.
  • Drive leadership development and enterprise-wide talent management initiatives to strengthen leadership capability and organisational performance.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 10 years in senior leadership positions within the public healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrated success in driving HR transformation initiatives, leveraging technology, and optimising workforce capabilities.
  • Strong leadership presence and integrity, with the foresight and ability to address both current and emerging organisational challenges.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with hands‑on experience using HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Proven ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholders effectively.
