The Board of Governors of Tanglin Trust School is pleased to invite applications for the role of CEO from August 2027.

Tanglin is the oldest British international school in Southeast Asia and offers an exceptional all-round international educational experience for over 2,800 students aged 3-18 representing over 50 nationalities. The school draws on a well-established history of excellence in education, professional and dynamic staff, the commitment and aspirations of the community, and the resources of Singapore, in its drive to become the best school in the world.

With Tanglin having celebrated its centenary in 2025, the CEO will build upon 100 years of excellence to ensure the school’s continued success and prominence. Alongside a committed Board of Governors, the CEO will establish and deliver a new vision for the school which will include significant strategic projects of growth and development. The successful candidate will be a visionary educationalist who will bring innovation and a commitment to excellence. First-class communication skills, with the gravitas to act as an ambassador to a range of audiences, are crucial and will be complemented by commercial acumen and personal drive and ambition.

Tanglin Trust School is partnering with the executive search firm Odgers and an executive search exercise is being undertaken alongside the public advertisement of this post. Odgers will support the School in identifying a wide and diverse field of suitable candidates and will assist in the assessment of candidates against the requirements for the role.

The closing date for applications is 9.00am GMT Thursday 12 February.

Shortlist interviews with the selection committee will take place on 5 & 6 March. Candidates invited to the final stage will be invited to have a briefing visit to the school and have a final interview during the week commencing 4 May.
