Overview

As an Assistant to the Chief Engineer, your role will involve assisting in implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and supporting the engineering staff in developing their goals and objectives. You will be responsible for budget planning and cost control for engineering projects. Your duties will also include creating purchasing specifications and conducting competitive bid analysis. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in emergency response and disaster recovery efforts, as well as planning and coordinating engineering projects and activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support engineering staff in developing their goals and objectives.
• Responsible for budget planning and cost control for engineering projects.
• Create purchasing specifications and conduct competitive bid analysis.
• Play a crucial role in emergency response and disaster recovery efforts.
• Plan and coordinate engineering projects and activities.
• Procure equipment and materials; assist with major repairs and maintenance; ensure 100% uptime on ongoing projects or operations.
• Maintain electronic documentation; handle maintenance and engineering issues such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Administer inventory control programs and systems.
• Work location is in person; this is a full-time position with benefits including provided food and health insurance; work schedule is on a rotational shift basis.

Qualifications / Application Process
