Chief accountant of Financial Share Service Center
Core Positioning
Responsible for accounting work in the SAP CO module of the enterprise, driving the improvement of cost efficiency through systems and data, and supporting business decision-making and compliance management.
Job Responsibilities
1. Cost Accounting
- Perform Cost Center Accounting operations based on the SAP CO module and handle related General Ledger (GL) accounting matters (Note: Booking operations for other modules and accounts are uniformly executed by the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC) – Mainland China);
- Based on the existing SAP product cost accounting system, collect cost items such as raw materials, labor, and manufacturing overheads, and conduct production order settlement and variance analysis;
- Monitor deviations between actual costs and standard costs, and complete monthly/quarterly cost analysis;
- Ensure cost accounting complies with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) requirements.
2. Data Support & Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Liaise with the production, procurement, and logistics departments to provide SAP cost data support;
- Utilize tools such as Power BI/SQL to explore the value of cost data and provide a basis for budget preparation and profit forecasting.
3. Cross-Regional Coverage
- The company plans to establish a factory in Malaysia (2026). As a member of the FSSC, you will be required to cover the cost accounting work of the Malaysian factory in the future (through a "remote coverage + dual-location" model);
- Provide periodic short-term on-site support for cost accounting at the group’s German/Swiss companies (Optional).
4. Local Compliance Work (Optional)
- As an FSSC staff member stationed in Singapore, be responsible for local financial matters that need to be completed on-site, such as tax declaration, annual inspection declaration, on-site audit coordination, and document provision.
Job Requirements
1. Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above;
- Over 5 years of cost accounting experience, including at least 3 years of practical experience in operating the SAP CO module;
- Experience in operating S/4 HANA.
2. Professional Skills
- Master methods such as cost variance analysis and standard cost setting, and be able to independently handle end-to-end cost accounting processes;
- Familiarity with the FICO module, as well as an understanding of CCA (Cost Center Accounting), IO (Internal Order), COPC (Cost Object Controlling), COPA (Profitability Analysis), and ML (Material Ledger);
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP); candidates with Power BI/SQL data analysis capabilities are preferred.
3. Soft Skills
- Possess cross-departmental communication and coordination abilities, and be able to promote the collaborative optimization of business and financial processes;
- Clear logical thinking, sensitivity to data, and the ability to independently solve complex cost accounting problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth familiarity with the FICO module, as well as a solid understanding of CCA, IO, COPC, COPA, and ML;
- Candidates with knowledge of cost control characteristics in the discrete manufacturing industry are preferred.
