Job description
Analytical Laboratory
  • Process control (e.g. Production parameter control)
  • Quality control (e.g. Finished goods periodical testing)
  • Familiar with the operations/technique of analytical instruments
  • R&D of new processes on a lab‑scale
  • Maintain and control of laboratory analytical and testing records
Process
  • Perform First‑Article testing for new customers or parts, prior to mass production
  • Perform review/gap analysis on customer’s specifications for chemical processes, with adequate process control measures
  • Involve in quality issues investigations, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Lead investigations for recovery action on any non‑conformity
  • Control of chemical logistics for entirety of production
Waste‑water treatment plant (WTP)
  • Manage and maintain WTP at optimum system performance for treatment of chemical waste
  • Troubleshoot WTP system issues when waste discharge is non‑compliant to Trade Effluent standards
  • All other tasks that might be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a chemical processing or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical engineering fundamentals, thermodynamics, and reaction engineering.
