Prepare, cook, and present food according to company standards and recipes
Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and portion control
Plan menus and assist in developing new dishes
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety (SFA requirements)
Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients and supplies
Minimise food wastage and control kitchen costs
Supervise and guide kitchen staff, including kitchen assistants and commis chefs
Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
Comply with workplace safety, health, and sanitation regulations
Handle customer feedback professionally and make improvements where necessary
Work closely with management to meet operational and business goals
Assist in training new kitchen staff
