Job summary

A social service organization in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to lead and manage foster care services. The role requires at least 5 years of experience in child welfare, with 2 years in a leadership capacity. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field. Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a conducive, safe and private space as well as accessibility to clients for an effective service delivery
  • Lead, guide and support staff to develop their full potential and the competencies and behavioural traits that are aligned to the Organisation values
  • Supervision and guidance to ensure best practices in clinical work
  • Manage grants aligned to the programmes and Centre & PPIS Social Service strategic goals
  • Ensure effective implementation of foster care services in line with the MSF Service Agreement and child protection standards
  • Contribute to public awareness efforts and community engagement related to fostering
Qualification & Job Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years' of relevant work experience in child welfare, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Familiarity with Singapore's foster care system and MSF frameworks preferred
  • Willingness to learn and use CaseCentral (training provided if needed)
  • Registered Social Worker (RSW) status preferred, or in progress.
