Job summary

A leading hospitality and entertainment venue in Singapore is looking for a team member to perform cash handling and banking functions. Responsibilities include financial transactions, maintaining inventory accuracy, and providing excellent customer service. Successful candidates will have strong numerical skills, communication abilities, and must be willing to work shifts, including weekends. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations at the venue while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

  • Conversant in English and at least one other Asian language.
  • Experience in handling cash and foreign exchange currencies preferred.
  • Must be able to perform shift duties and work on weekends and public holidays.

  • Perform cash float functions and balance inventory.
  • Conduct various financial transactions for casino operations.

Job Responsibilities

Able to perform Front Window, Team Member Bank and/or Fill Bank functions, duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Being responsible for an imprest inventory of cash float
  • Perform various financial transactions, in support of the Casino Table Games Operations, Slot Operations and the casino Guests playing in these areas, including:
  • Cash-in/ Cash-Out gaming chipsPerform foreign currency exchangeRedeem Slot Machine payout tickets/TITO/ vouchers for cash/cash equivalentPerform patron account transactions (safe keeping/front money deposits & refunds)Check cashing, check/marker redemptions and consolidationsPerform credit card and EFTPOS cash advancesPerform Rolling Chip ExchangesOther cashier tasks as required
  • At completion of the shift, balance float and bring it back to the impress amount
  • Conduct Team Member Bank functions accurately
  • Preparation of table fills/ receiving table credits
  • Handling chip transfers between front window, fill banks. main banks.
  • Balance the inventory of Chip Bank to the casino computer system, account for all chip movements in and out of the Chip Bank
  • Maintain accurate and legible balance sheets
  • Provide friendly, efficient and courteous service to all internal and external customers. Perform all duties in accordance with Company policies and within the realm of the Company's corporate values.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum secondary / high school education preferred
  • Conversant with English and at least one other Asian language
  • Possess a flair for numericals and excellent service and communication skills
  • Experience in handling cash and foreign exchange currencies preferred
  • Must be able to perform shift duties and work on weekends and public holidays
  • Singaporean male applicants should have completed National Service
