Job summary

A logistics consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager with expertise in airfreight and ocean freight. The role involves developing sales strategies, securing new clients, and expanding regional trade lanes. Ideal candidates will have 8-12 years in logistics, with success in client acquisition and experience in tenders and RFQs. Attractive salary package and permanent role offered.

Brief Summary
  • Basic $5500 - $8500 + $1100 Transport Allowance
  • Mon to Fri: 9.00am - 6.00pm
  • Location: Changi North
  • Permanent Role + VB + 15AL
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for airfreight and ocean freight across regional trade lanes.
  • Build a strong pipeline, secure new mid-to-large clients, and meet sales targets.
  • Identify and promote differentiators and solutions to win and retain customers.
  • Expand key trade lanes in APAC, US, and Europe, focusing on general freight, manufacturing supply chains, and DG cargo.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and convert opportunities into revenue.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to meet customer needs; prepare and communicate SOPs.
  • Support tenders and RFQs; design tailored freight solutions.
  • Resolve service issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Update sales activities in Salesforce and report to the Head of Sales.
Job Requirements
  • 8 – 12 years in logistics or freight forwarding.
  • 2 – 3 years in a hunter role with proven success securing new clients (GP SGD 200K+).
  • Experience with tenders, RFQs, pricing, trade lanes, and account management.
  • Degree in Marketing, Sales, or related field.
