Overview

SBM Management is searching for an experienced Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager is responsible for creating and developing relationships with new clients and successfully maintaining relationships with current clients. The role will also involve establishing and improving internal sales processes and promotional materials. The ideal candidate will be a creative, hard-working, entrepreneurial individual who can think expansively and work independently while receiving support from peers.

Responsibilities
  • Generate and qualify leads
  • Source and develop client referrals
  • Develop sales presentations and proposals
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development
  • Prepare sales action plans and conduct direct marketing activities
  • Make sales calls to new and existing clients
  • Maintain sales activity records and reports
  • Follow up on all sales activity to ensure compliance with contract specifications
  • Perform quality checks on service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and strong client relationships
  • Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
  • Regional travel (up to 30%) may be required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Sales experience with Facilities or Janitorial services is preferred, but other related industry sales experience will be considered
  • Experience with enterprise software solutions
  • Solid experience in developing customer relationships and delivering sales presentations
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets, create prospect lists and secure RFPs
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Proven leadership and customer service skills

Compensation: $7K-$10K/month
