About the Role

As a Business Development Manager (Commercialisation), you will identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities while managing and growing existing commercial partnerships. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, negotiating contracts, conducting P&L analysis, and preparing impactful business pitches. This role requires close collaboration with local Commercialisation and Distribution teams, as well as regional stakeholders, to support strategic business expansion within Singapore.

What You'll Do
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new commercial business opportunities.
  • Develop compelling pitch decks, proposals, and business cases to present to clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct detailed P&L and commercial analyses for new and existing business lines.
  • Lead negotiations and secure contracts, renewals, and in-/out-licensing or distribution agreements.
  • Manage end-to-end deal execution, including stakeholder alignment and implementation planning.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Commercialisation, Distribution, Operations, Regional) to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Monitor emerging market trends and recommend strategies for business growth.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on business pipeline and financial impact.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or other healthcare‑related discipline.
  • Strong background in business development and commercialization within pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare organizations.
  • Solid knowledge of Singapore’s healthcare landscape and commercial distribution channels.
  • Proven experience in negotiating and closing commercial/biz development deals; in-/out‑licensing experience is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and P&L management skills, with good commercial acumen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (financial modelling) and PowerPoint (business presentations).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident in engaging multiple stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Self‑driven, adaptable, and results‑oriented with a “can‑do” mindset.
