Our client is a global fintech pioneer with a presence in key financial hubs including Hong Kong, London, and Singapore. They are engineering a widely adaptable global payment settlement network.

We are seeking a Business Development Director/General Manager to establish and scale the Singapore office. You will serve as the primary bridge between the Singapore market and Global HQ, driving the company’s expansion in Southeast Asia’s most critical financial hub.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead market expansion and BD by focusing on channel development and strategic partnerships with e-commerce and foreign trade enterprises.
  • Full P&L responsibility for the Singapore office, overseeing daily operations, financial supervision, and administrative excellence.
  • Act as the strategic link to the headquarter, ensuring work efficiency, cultural alignment, and information symmetry across borders.
  • Represent the firm before Singaporean regulators (MAS) and government authorities to ensure robust, compliant operations.
  • Provide localized market intelligence to the HQ to influence global product roadmaps and operational strategies.
Job Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including 3+ years in a management/leadership role within a multinational tech or fintech/finance/banking firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above (Finance, International Trade, or Business Administration preferred).
  • Proven track record in Payments, Cross‑border Trade, or FinTech. Familiarity with Singapore’s fiscal, taxation, and regulatory (MAS) environment is essential.
  • Exceptional organizational coordination and the ability to operate independently in a “start‑up” style environment within a well‑funded framework.
