Job Summary
Tata Technologies is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead aerospace sales initiatives in the entire Singapore region. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in aerospace industry sales, proven client engagement skills, and a track record of driving revenue growth through strategic account management and solution-based selling.
Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities
The candidate should be capable to do both hunting & farming.
Business Development (Hunting)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the aerospace sector across MROs, OEMs, Tier 1/2 suppliers.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for engineering and digital solutions
- Build a robust pipeline through networking, industry events, and targeted outreach
- Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations
Account Management & Growth (Farming)
- Manage and grow strategic accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful project execution and value realization
- Drive account planning, quarterly business reviews, and long-term relationship building
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10–12 years of experience in aerospace sales, with a mix of hunting and farming responsibilities.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of aerospace industry trends, challenges, and customer needs.
- Experience selling engineering services, PLM, digital transformation, or manufacturing solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Industry Awareness: Understanding of aerospace market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
- Experience working with global, ASEAN & Singapore aerospace clients.
- Familiarity with Tata Technologies’ service portfolio.
- Exposure to digital technologies like Industry 4.0, IoT, AI, and sustainability in aerospace.
- Technical Sales, Lead Generation, GTM, Customer Requirement Capturing, Solutioning, Costing, GP.
- Demand Generation, Customer Relationship, Tracking Competition.
- CRM, Reports, Budget, Forecast & actual revenue understanding.
- Account Plan, Composing Proposal, Presentations, Customer events.
- Exposure to Legal T&Cs, Risks.
