We’re Hiring: Business Development & Account Manager (Fresh Food Distribution | B2B F&B / Catering)
We are expanding our fresh food distribution business in Singapore and looking for an experienced Business Development & Account Manager to lead sales growth, manage key accounts, and drive our presence in the F&B and hospitality sectors.
What You’ll Do
- Team Leadership: Manage and evaluate the sales team’s performance, including client servicing, account reconciliation, and payment collection. Support the team in handling customer feedback and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Sales & Growth Strategy: Work closely with the sales team to design and implement business development strategies, track market trends, and respond to competition to achieve growth targets.
- Client Development: Identify and acquire new clients across F&B, catering, hotels, and restaurants. Build strong, long-term partnerships and provide tailored solutions for their fresh produce and ingredient supply needs.
- Account Management: Maintain and grow existing client relationships, ensure smooth order management and timely delivery in coordination with supply chain and logistics teams.
- Business Expansion: Enhance brand visibility, explore new channels, and create opportunities to expand market share in the fresh food distribution industry.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales management or business development experience in fresh food supply chain, F&B distribution, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of food service, catering, and hospitality supply.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to engage stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong teamwork and coordination skills with internal supply chain/logistics teams.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to analyze market trends and formulate effective strategies.
- Organized, resilient, and result-oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in English & Mandarin is an advantage (to liaise with clients and suppliers).
Preferred Background
- Experience in selling food distribution, fresh produce, or hotel/catering supplies (glassware, disposables, etc.).
- Candidates with established networks in Singapore’s restaurants, hotels, catering companies, or wholesale buyers are highly preferred.
