Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a training specialist to develop and maintain Epic training curriculum and instructional materials. The role involves delivering training and providing go-live support, requiring 3–5 years of experience in healthcare operations or IT. Candidates should have strong communication and facilitation skills and must obtain Epic certification upon joining. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Epic, adult education, instructional design and clinical training is advantageous.

Job Description
  • Develop and maintain Epic training curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials tailored to user roles.
  • Deliver training to trainers, super-users and end-users via classroom, virtual sessions, and asynchronous formats (e.g., job aids, e-learning).
  • Build and maintain the Epic training environment, ensuring it reflects production workflows.
  • Participate in workflow design and system build to gain deep understanding of application functionality.
  • Credential and support trainers through “train-the-trainer” programs.
  • Participate in and support change management/user readiness activities.
  • Provide go-live and post-go-live support, including at-the-elbow assistance and refresher training.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess training effectiveness and continuously improve content.
  • Stay current with Epic updates and best practices in adult learning and instructional design.
Requirements
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in healthcare, education, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in healthcare operations or IT.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with active listening
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Obtaining and passing Epic certification in one or more applications will be required upon joining.
  • Certification in any of the following Epic application will be preferred (Cadence/Patient Access, EpicCare Ambulatory, Epic Training Environment Build, Healthy Planet/Population Health, HIM, Inpatient Orders, Radiant, Specialty Apps (e.g. Bones, Dermatology, Kaleidoscope, Wisdom))
  • Experience with Epic, adult education, instructional design and clinical training would be an added advantage
